[AB] Connectivity issues

For the past day or so I've been having connectivity issues. Not so much dropped connections but my whole modem restarts every 10 or so minutes. I own a 2WIRE 2700 HG-E modem, it's worked beautifully up until this. I thought the problem would resolve itself over night but it's still a regular occurrence. For instance, I've got all my 4 lights active right now but say in 10 mins or so it's as if the whole modem restarts it self.

Help please? I called in about it and the person I talked to wasn't too sure if it was on my part or the network.

If the modem is restarting, it's probably a modem/powersupply issue. If it's a connection issue, only the last 2 lights will go out while it reconnects.

Phone 310-4NET and describe the problem. They will eventually either send you a new modem or dispatch a tech.

It's a typical problem with the 2-Wire. It either overheats and reboots or the power supply starts to flake out. If the problem persists for a long period of time, it would be wise to have it swapped out for another.

You were right, they told me they'd be sending a new modem as the one I have now overheats a lot.
