Easy Magic Jack Fix

I was on all night w chat customer support and finnaly got somewhere
you have to goto regedit
then open
hkey local machine
then open
system
then open
control set 1
control set 2
if exist control set 3
ok 1st lets start w the
current control set
since there same as control set 1
2
and 3
anwyay inside current control set open
enum
then open
usb
then click untill you find
tigerjet
then unclick where tiger get came from
example
vid_stringsofstuff(Vid_06e6&Pid_c200)
seems tiger get stuff has c's in it

Vid_06e6&Pid_c200 type one then right click permissions
and add checkmark everyone
then goback inside cuase you just came from inside it cause thats where you SAW magic jack then right click permissions inside that then goback to the vid one and try to delete it
then keep click ing untill you find the cdrom device tiger jet driver then once you have manually cleaned regedit of all tiger get instances giving youreself everyone advaced copy or remove permissions to delete then you can delete them i think they do this so you dont delte things like the mosue youre using to delete other keys...
anyway once all instances of usb and USB STORE yes you have to do it all over again in usbstor too before you can replug and badabing bbadabing 1st one is usb device and drive and 2nd one is fake cdrom usb external cdrom device it installs then from those drives it runs magic jack so if ip changes or something else changes it wont work unless you do that. its a pain in the butt but once you remember how to double click the vid parent+child- ones then give self permition to delte tiger jet keys then you can plug it back in and it alwyas seems to work has nothing to do w upgrade upgrade causes most of the problems if you want to shut it down just unplug it .. YES you can sleep harddrive just not system.. GOOD LUCK
also if you have problems on there page start chat give any reason then find start chat link once you find start chat link right mouse click it and save as FAVORITE then you can instigate chat any time you want also if chat window open and other end "them is waiting for you " you CAN reboot dsl and if window is still open you can reply! if you copy cach in address bar you can just open same link window and they wont know differnce but leaving chat window open when network card regets its ip address it still works... but if you reboot youre dsl and dont have static ip you have to delete usb memmory stick tiger jack and tiger jack cdrom from control set 1 2 and if exist 3 and current control set as whell
the giving youre self permission to do it is harderst to do
i just logon as administrator then right click regedit + and - child and its parent i want to delte right click then permission advanced not inherited! remove then add everyone then give all then go back to parrent same thing or copy add advanced not inherited apply add efveryone check all then apply ok then delte whole key then replug and click HANDSET so soundblaster will ring then pick up my western electric unlighted dial blue led princess phone and dial my own phone number dialing a 1thennumber so i wont have to dial a 1 before next call then it seems to work after that then i can plug unplug sleep replug and it seems to work if i badabing ON THAT COMPUTER ONLY cause it only has one mac at a time or its built in drives cache bitches and i think they when you run upgrade flash something so youre computer wont go on susspend untill magic jack is killed off in taskmgr so you coud write a file to close magic jack then leave setup.exe from application mj dir and it would badabing after a sleep! then works every time all you have to do is click hand set for it to ring NOW ONTO WISHING someone would make a skin so it would be in tray not ONTOP WINDOW!!! anyway Good lucky you... ps so yo know where to find regedit dont forget usbstor too and the control set 1 control set 2 or 3 if 3 exist and current whitch pics from and usbstor and usb there are a lot to delete... but when you replug after usb device gone it loads fresh from c-mos and works... delete current caller id before you replug so it is empty.

I've been working on something similar, with the additional capability to block or ignore numbers, or all anonymous calls. Maybe also a 10-number "speed dial." All with the softphone permanently minimized to the tray (and no popups for incoming calls).

It's about 90% complete. I just need to get some time to finish it. I plan to release it as open source so anyone can verify that it's not malware, and can contribute to its development.
