[Modem] Recover serial number - 2Wire modem

My mom recently bought a used 2Wire modem to use with her Qwest internet service. One problem, though, the last 1 or 2 digits of the serial number are scratched off (it came with a stand that fits right over the serial number sticker).

I tried installing the modem, and entered the serial number in using digits 0-9, thinking something would work, but it didn't. So, it must be missing 2 digits at the end.

Is it possible to recover the serial number somehow? All the other numbers are intact.

Thanks in advance!

The serial number is shown in the gui look in the system icon pages
Why do you need the serial number

Or if you hard reset the modem to factory defaults, the tail end of default wireless SSID is the tail end of serial number.
