Had it done last year, some 1800sqft of hardwood + stairs came to a bit over 3k.
Make sure you have a place to live (friends, family) for 1 week or factor a hotel room in the cost of the job - you won't be able to stay in the house.

well i can send the wife/kid to grandma's and i can live in the basement for a week

is it really that bad?

well my house upstairs is only 1200sf....minus kitchen and bath i would assume 800. so 2k is not that bad

found one place that says 1.25 per FT.... i assumed it was sqft...but it did not say that so i wonder if its 1ft x 1ft measurements.

www.stopfcc.comI do not think the government needs to restrict free speech especially on a device that has an off knob.

Yes, you'll get dizzy due to the vapors.

Should be sqft. That's a fairly decent price, but wait until they give you a quote... who knows, they may be hurting for business If you have stairs that's a typical $25-30/step. Make sure you get some references from customers... you don't want some inexperienced guy screwing your floor.
