help please
only metacafe is not playing in both Firefox 3.5 and IE8
was working before
do not know where to check or fix
using Win XP Pro sp3, have AdBlock Plus

| if you temporarily disable adblock + on that page/site does it work? Any software capable of blocking scripts like some firewalls + are you using hosts file?

i did try disable the adblock+ not working
do not use hosts file, no firewall other than the Windows XP firewall, have scripts enable in Firefox

youtube works fine
i just could not figure out where it blocking now
i might roll back to flash player 9 and see how it goes

edit: found how to set default and is set now will play metacafe see how it works

do i really need another codes installed, just because only Metacafe not working, the rest are working quite fine.
even Firefox safe mode could not get Metacafe working.
tried to set WM player as default player, no luck here either, it just goes back to "use my current media player", do not know what are the bugs behind it.
only and only Metacafe just won't play at all in IE8 and FF3.5

And I believe you may also be required to allow a cookie.
Also, In IE8, maybe you have to put those two sites in the 'trusted zone'. |

edit: just tried, has to be »https://:, so no luck here again
thanks anyway, but, i found a way to play the clips from the metacafe using my default media player.
just copy the required part of embedded url from the clip and open it in my default player
