| Looking for Wifi card to put into my desktop... I am looking for a wifi card to put into my desktop. I tried using a Linksys Compact Wireless - G USB adapter, but it only picked up one wireless connection and it wasn't the one that I needed to connect to. I even tried setting the connection up manually, but that didn't work either.
My girlfriend's laptop (the computer that I'm currently on) has a internal wifi card and is able to pick up the connection that the adapter I tried to use was unable to pick up.
I'm guessing that this adapter isn't the kind of wireless product that I need and what I do need is an actual Wifi card similar to what's used in a laptop.
Any ideas for that type of card?
