Mozilla is scrambling to fix bugs in its just-released Firefox 3.5 browser. Users are posting complaints about problems across the Web.
Those problems include longer load times and crashes linked to the TraceMonkey JavaScript engine. The browser also reportedly has problems with Windows XP. Mozilla has set a community "BugDay" for July 7 to address the bugs in open-source Firefox 3.5.
Firefox 3.5.1 is expected to be released later this month to correct some of the 55 published bugs

I am very happy with new release and it hadn't crash for me yet. I had few addons disabled but nothing important. I think Mozilla will correct the bugs quickly. |

Running XP, Firefox 3.5, I've noticed slower load times (double clicking the executable from a restart) and it also crashed once.

Good for Mozilla! 
OT, but you never did respond to my question about IE8's lack of script control granularity and functionality as is found in NoScript.

Since installing Firefox 3.5, I've only seen one error take place and it only happened once. It took place on Windows XP, where when I brought the window back up from minimization while the system was busy, the forward/back, reload, stop and home buttons had disappeared, and remained gone even after the system settled down. I had to restart Firefox to bring it back.
But it's not a surprise to hear about these bugs. I've got a bunch of beta software installed so I'm used to them anyways.

Any new release of any browser is going to have a bunch of bugs - it's the nature of the beast.
Even though I'm primarily an IE user, I have no doubt that the FF folks will get the bugs fixed much more quickly than the IE people would have in the same situation, since FF ALWAYS fixes their problems faster.
This whole thread is a non-issue, IMO
