Why is the time for any post I make 5 hours off? It should be for central standard time. What did I put in my profile wrong?

I have the time set as "US/Central".

Maybe your time is being interpreted as central europe?

i agree ck your time zone, I'am tx also & my post re only 1 hr off EAST COAT TIME,which is (I guess) the time dsl reports goes by.

Katy, TX		 Like I posted, I had it set on central with a zip of 77494. Don't know why it would not work with the zip. Do know I was not in "east coat time".
