Southern Star's dynamite

A couple of months ago, when Verio dumped DSL onto a company that would not accept commercial accounts within the City of New Orleans (due to contractual reasons stemming from the leased phone lines), I reviewed many different companies to replace our service. I read Southern Star's glowing reviews and decided that the company's small size, personability, and user friendliness merited giving them a chance. The owner, John, made our transition incredibly easy, which otherwise tends to be a nightmare with domain changes, email changes, hosting changes, etc. As a matter of fact, it was easier to make these changes with John than it was to terminate our service with Verio, which in fact, Verio terminated but never quit billing. I would strongly recommend anyone considering new service whether for home or for office give STRONG consideration to Southern Star. We have not had a single e-mail or internet outage with him. You'll also never be put on hold for 45 minutes, or be transferred from department to department.
