Cheaper, always maximum speed, and you know it will never go down. I wouldn't suggest it though but I am sure there is people out there who do. You just have to have a good upload speed otherwise it takes forever. |

The above statement is a complete lie. Demonoid is not secretly running through h33t.com; those are torrents that were gaffed from Demonoid.com and re-posted. Demonoid's trackers are currently active and torrent-jackers use this to up their ratio... Ronjersan, you're full of sh*t, my friend.
If you're looking for an alternative for Progz,Mp3s,Vids,etc... then public trackers should tie you over for now:
#1) Btjunkie.org (Has just about everything)
#2) TorrentPond.com (Good way to quickly search the rest)
#3) H33t.com (Alot of stuff in Italian, but pretty decent torrents otherwise)
...Just make sure you scan all your DL's before opening them! |

It is true that you may find a file here and there that you can't find on Usenet, but the truth of the matter is that the source of most torrents is Usenet.
Just about everything you find on BT was first uploaded to Usenet, then downloaded by someone from Usenet, then torrented.
I never use torrents anymore. On Usenet I average 30Mbit download speeds (40Mbit connection), I can do a full length 1080p BluRay in like 12 mins. I've never gotten anywhere near that on BT. |
