I just got the preview, it has the Zune Music and Video Marketplace, Facebook, Twitter, Last.fm updates. All of them are their own little app (not sure about the Facebook app, gave up FB since I got addicted to it) and all take up the whole screen. I can't set Last.fm to work in the background which is kind of a bummer since I can't listen to it and play games at the same time.
Update: The Zune Music Marketplace is just Music Videos.
Update 2: Curiosity got the better of me, looks like the Facebook app is mostly meant to update status, check the feed, and browse friend's photos. The Zune Video Marketplace has movies to stream at 1080p for 480MS Points ($6US), this replaces whatever HD resolution they streamed at before. New feature for some movies is the ability to actually purchase them, downside is the cost, for SD it's 1200MS Points ($15) and HD it's 1600MS Points ($20), makes more sense to actually go out and buy them. Edit: Oh and thank you Ken for bringing the buy option to my attention.

I got in. I live in Canada so we only got the facebook/twitter/zune video update. No last.fm for some reason altho I use it :s . No news updates either. We dont have Netflix in Canada FYI. On Zune video they only tv networks they have are MTV, Spike, and Warner Bros. Each show is 130MS points. MTV has shows all the seasons of the shows they list like jackass, nitro circus, rob and big, fantasy factory, the hills, the city and a bunch more.
They also got a bunch of movies you can rent/buy except they are the same price :s , They also have a movie party thing where you can suggest movies to other people and i think you can watch it with them. |

Did anyone get the WPA2 security update mentioned here or we will have to wait for the update to become official to get the newer wireless security protocol? I don't have the wireless adapter or I'd check this out myself.

 ). But what most people are going to use it for is the Avatar Awards, which are free thankfully. The avatar awards include a Monitor prop, a shirt with ODST on it, a jacket, two recon helmets in red & blue depends on gender, ODST helmet, and full body ODST armor.

I also downloaded Halo Waypoint...it's decent. A nifty way of keeping track of all of your progress in the Xbox 360 Halo series, but it's pretty limited at the current time. It does unlock some free Avatar gear for certain achievements...like my sweet recon helmet! |
