Docsis 2.0 - Standards

38Mbit/s downstream theoretical not counting overhead.

27Mbit/s upstream theoretical not counting overhead.

It is possible to get 35Mbps.

Some BHN markets have upgraded to 1Ghz networks along with Docsis 3.0. As long as the cable modem can support Docsis 3.0 (or the modem can handle higher speeds than docsis 2.0) you should be able to see these speed increases. Of course your network connection itself must support 100Mbps or higher. I've seen some computers that only have the older 10BaseT network cards which only reach a max of 10Mbps throughput.

I hit 30+ regularly during the day/night and have since they implemented powerboost.
