|  What is Washington's nightly decibel noise limit?
I'm a big fan of listening to classical, bluegrass, country, and oldies music every chance I get. I like to play my music loud during the day. I want to play my music loud at night but not to the point were people call the police on me and I land up in jail. What is Washington state's nightly decibel noise limit? |

| I do live in Kent. I live on 227Th right off of 108Th in the East Hill area of Kent. I see what it is saying but it is telling different noise limit's for class a threw c. I live in an upscale mobile home park called Clark's Glenn. So I have no idea what the maximum for me would be. |

If you live in a mobile home park, I'm sure there are rules about disturbing neighbors. The letter of the law means little when you're living on someone else's property. The property managers can set whatever rules and make whatever decisions they please about noise, etc... Day or night, if your music bothers someone else, you'll likely be in violation of the community rules (or they'll make one up just for you) and they'll eventually evict you if it becomes a problem. |

I would turn up the stereo to the typical listening volume, go outside off the front porch, and if you can hear the music, it's too loud.

| Epikos' advice is sound. If you can hear it outside, over at the neighbors is likely. If they like the same music you do, it may not be an issue. One thing I've found that works is to speak to your neighbors first and ask them to contact you directly before the police if there's a problem. |
