Vistas default configuration -vs- Windows 7 default configuration
The System configuration Services for Vista is unpleasant to my kB/s Maximum upload rate, Is Windows 7 better? Will Conexant Systems Inc. XAudioService, Apple Inc. Bonjour Service, Apple Inc. iPod Service be updated or traded out for others?
Will there be this message in the future?
WINDOWS 7 USERS: Vista TCP tuning (tweaking) is NOT advisable. The WINDOWS 7 TCP stack does a reasonable job of tuning the receive window dynamically, there are no known registry tweaks that would optimize Vista better than its default configuration. |

| reply to timothypee I think that his thrust is like Vista, there is no way to charge the RWIN settings (as many other settings).
There are a few Mickey Mouse settings that folks taught to "tweak" Vista and Win7 - simply not worth the exercise. -- "You can observe a lot by watching". Yogi Berra |
