| Need additional video card
I need some advice please. I am running windows xp mce on an hp2023wm. I upgraded the ram to 2 x 1GB of crucial giving me a total of 2 GB. Upgraded the power supply to a 650W neopower 650. Disabled the onboard graphics and installed an evga e-GeForce 8600GT 256MB DDR3 (previously recommended from this site) so I could run two monitors off the pci-e slot.
I would now like to run 3 monitors so I am limited to using a PCI slot. I would really like it to be compatible with the nvidia control panel.
I only use this computer for stock trading. Absolutely no games at all. No 3D at all.
Would someone please recommend another video card to add to my system, or am I asking too much of this system?
The current software I am using Schwab streetsmartpro is not entirely compatable with W7 and I do not want to upgrade to Vista. Maybe one day Schwab will get around to updating their software.
Thanks. |

Just a valid question, and would be the cheaper route to go if possible. |

An nvidia 8xxx series PCI card should work fine. |
