 | [Tomato] getting lan ip for wan ip Hi,
Could anyone have a clue for my wierdo problem. For a long time I've had my setup so that my adsl2+ modem (zyxel 660) is in bridge mode before the buffalo whr-g54 running the tomato firmware. Everything was fine until recently without any visible reason when i boot the buffalo (or renew the wan ip otherwise) I'm getting a local ip as the wan ip. I would assume that this was some kind of hassle with zyxel natting but shouldn't the bridge mode prevent such stuff from happening? I'm totally clueless with this one, could anyone have tip or two?

 | reply to ltko Hi,
Big thanks for the help.. I finally got it to work. Indeed I had to disable DHCP (thought it would be turned of automatically when using bridge mode). Also I needed to remove the LAN ip I had forced for the modem. For some reason both of those needed to be done. |
