wifi4milezBig Russ, 1918 to 2008. Rest in Peace join:2004-08-07 New York, NY | Text messages not showing up under senders name For some odd reason, all incoming text messages are now showing up as +12125551212 (or whatever the number is), instead of the senders name in my address book. I am using a Blackberry, and this just happened after a fresh wipe of the OS. Even stranger, if I send out a text message the reply still comes back with the phone number (plus the "+). Any ideas? Do I need to change a setting or something? Carrier is Tmobile. -- God bless America, God bless our troops, and God help us destroy the Islamic terrorists.

In your old phone book, they might not have been put in. Just because you copied it over doesn't mean that area codes were magically entered.
Have you tried power cycling? This happened to me a couple times with my BlackBerry Pearl, but it remedied itself. -- My BLOG! Black Friday Ads |

wifi4milezBig Russ, 1918 to 2008. Rest in Peace join:2004-08-07 New York, NY | Thats interesting, I didnt realize it was as big of an issue as it is. I was able to rectify the situation by (first) deleting all the text messages in my inbox. I had noticed that text messages sent/received after a certain time did display correctly. After that, I rebooted the device to see if it helped. The combination of these two things "seemed" to have fixed this issue, although I will keep testing it over the next few days. -- God bless America, God bless our troops, and God help us destroy the Islamic terrorists.
