 | reply to lso1123 I had the same problem today on my XP machine. I spend 4 hrs trying a few things:
install the latest DAT from McAfee - No Good! install and ran Malware bytes - No Good! followed steps found on internet - No Good! Restored System: Start > Programs > Accessories > System Tools > System Restore -- Works!!!
I ended up restoring my XP machine to the last check point which was yesterday morning.
Now my PC is back to normal. I had the bastards who put out this malware -- I curse them!!! |

 | reply to lso1123 Yea, I tried doing a system restore, and sysguard2010.com has rendered my system restore program useless, as well as my task manager. I've tried everything else, and it's rendered those useless as well. I'm out of options... *sigh* |

Re: sysguard2010.com Give Microsoft Security Essentials a shot at it. I installed it and ran a scan. It did quite nicely in detecting and removing Antivirus Pro 2010 infection on a couple of customer PCs.

 | reply to RainaF1980 When the windows screen first appears, hit ctrl, alt, del. This gives you the task manager. I the searched for unusual programs. Found: uklbsguard.exe. When I stopped this program the problem stopped. I had to do this right after the desktop appeared or Task manager would not load. I could then go to C:\ and delete files and regedit to delete registry files. Wish I had thought about system restore it would have been a lot easier. I also had an alert from Anti Virus System Pro which when clicked would start a scan. There are websites for the files to delete.
Hope this helps |
