Dead Space $14.99 on Steam

If you haven't played this one...definitely one for the collection.

Amazing story graphics and clever puzzles as far as gameplay.

Part of Steams five day 'one day' sales....so get on it

cheapest I've seen it, I just picked up Madballs for 2 bucks, well worth the price.

Dead Space is probably the best game I have played this year. I played through it about 4 times and the story is quite good. Well worth the $15.

I'm gonna be honest and say these types of games scare the living shit out of me... at night, with full surround sound, it literally creeps me out...

I might have to pick it up anyway for that price!

Third person (for the most part) shooter with a strong element of puzzles set in an orbiting mining station where something strange has happened to the crew. Theres an element to RPG with improving on your space suit and 'weapons' (most are mining tools used as weapons) and you collect stuff along the way.

Amazing graphics and incredible atmosphere. It took me about 45 minutes to get into the game, but once I did nothing else loaded on the gaming computer until I finished some weeks later.

I personally did'nt search every nook and cranny, nor did I worry too much about levelling up stuff and the game still rocked.

IMHO the game is a steal at $14.99. I think I bought it foe around $25 and it was worth every penny.

Would you say something like System Shock 2?
Have you ever played that?It was done by Looking Glass Technologies who did some great games in the mid 90's.
Unfortunately the folded because of money problems.

There really are no NPC's (only to move the story along) and the leveling up or augementing weapons and abilities is less than System Shock 2.

You collect stuff along the way, including cash, sell items and use cash to buy upgrades or weapons.

It could be called a cross between System Shock and Doom 3.

I'll have to look into it.Right now I'm enjoying the hell out of Borderlands. Its very much like Diablo2 in its dynamics.
Killing enemies and collecting loot,armor,weapons,etc.
Its just mindless fun without to much of a story line.Just plain fun.

FEAR scared the crap out of me... something with little kids in horror movies/games freak me out.

I missed the sale on this game. Will have to grab it later on.
