Do I still have a virus?

I received an error message after reinstalling windows Sucatreg.exe-found out it was related to w/32 magistrA virus. From what I understand it is a boot virus/worm, and can send my email messages to people. When running in safe mode my c: drive is running in Dos paging. Is it gone? or might it still be there?

I have ZAP, and AVG for Virus scan, caught the virus when Macfee could not. I also have Pest Patrol.

You can get an online scan for viruses, trojans and variants at:
1. Symantec (Norton Anti-virus) Security Check - Free on-line scan
»security1.norton.com/us/intro.as···angid=us
Click the 'Run Virus Check' or 'Run Security Check' button.
or
»www.symantec.com/securitycheck/
Click 'Find out today if you are safe'. Then click 'Scan for Viruses'.
2. Trend Micro (PC-cillin) - Free on-line Scan - very good at detecting 'joke' viruses
»housecall.antivirus.com
A small Download Required
3. Panda's Active Scan
»www.pandasoftware.com

When you run your scan please let us know what you find.

I guess it is gone thanks to AVG. Just used the antimagistr from wilders. Tried to run the dos fix from Trend, but do not know if it worked.

I am just a little p-noid, because someone did access my computer recently when I had a cable modem with a static IP.

Thanks for the help!
