[DSL] Best setup to use with DSL?

Dnajun @embarqhsd.net	[DSL] Best setup to use with DSL? Alright so, my latency kinda sucks with DSL, and I'm wandering, what I can do about making it better(Spitter/Best modem/best router). I'm in SW FL and use Embarq. my ping to the closest server on speedtest.net is 162.. In games I sometimes see this go up to 350-400. Usually about 150-225 though. Shouldn't I be more around 80?
