3 edits | RVS4000 New firmware Though the date says last year... This just popped up on their site yesterday: 2/15/2010.... Note that the IPS Signature they refer to is the old one, from last October!!! Which is same version on their site now.... ???
Anyone try it yet? (It certainly doesn't mention any of the issues I told them about....) I have not seen any Firefox issues, though it appears it's an older Firefox version....
???

| I've installed this just yesterday Jan. So far I'm really liking it. It's pretty much identical to the previous release v1.3.0.5, but decided to update as it corrects a few minor GUI bugs and has the new IPS signature. I'll be monitoring the logs and stability of this release and will post back if I notice anything odd. I never got a chance to test out v1.3.0.5 as I just installed this last week... then I see v1.3.1.0! I'm glad to see that Cisco is at least continuing with development on this unit. However, they need to pick up the damn pace with their IPS signatures!! |

Does it log inbound and outbound traffic (eg does it log a scan from GRC.com)?

TTC2 join:2002-01-12 Richmond Hill, ON | reply to Jan Janowski It does record a scan from GRC.com as inbound UDP. From there, there is no other incoming logs whatsoever.
I have tried set up a DMZ with a non existing lan ip, forward port but no still no incoming log. |

Maybe it only shows blocked inbound traffic (is there a setting to show blocked/all traffic somewhere).
