Is there a place to download episodes from Animal Planet? Like for instance "It's Me Or The Dog"?

You might have to resort to BitTorrent to find those. I did a search on Binsearch for it and came up with no results.

I guess it isn't popular enough for Usenet posting.

That woman is annoying, so that's reason enough not to upload her. Seriously, I checked Newzbin and found nothing.

If you want a good show with a knowledgeable dog trainer, look for the show The Dog Whisperer. You can find a bunch of episodes in the following newsgroups:

alt.binaries.multimedia

I don't know about that particular show but more and more networks are putting full episodes on their website, e.g. »animal.discovery.com/videos/

Internet-based media center apps like Boxee (based on XBMC) provide a single user interface to numerous web-hosted content (be it either web-only or network shows).

I love Boxee

Oh, I should have mentioned that the "Clicker" app (last screenshot) is also available via a web browser: »www.clicker.com/ and you can find things by cable/network source like this: »www.clicker.com/source/animal-planet/

All networks should do this. It is the future. I wish they would all learn that.

OT, but is there a good comparison of this, to something like the cinematube (which I just bought)?

Or your thoughts?

Not aware of any myself, sorry. A "Boxee Box" (by D-Link) is due out in a few months, I would expect more comparisons then for various set-top media center boxes.

I will say that I really like the fact that anyone can distribute an App for Boxee

Well, obviously she is quite knowledgeable as she was named 2009 dog trainer of the year.

Being around other trainers myself, Cesar's practices aren't as good.
