Houston, TX | [Serious] Prayers please for me this time, passing kidney stones hurts enough when they are small, but right now my body is trying to pass one that is 4.5mm which is pretty darn big, anyways I've been home sick since friday with this and throwing up from the pain (yes they gave me pain meds at the hospital but they seem to be losing effect as I get more used to them).

1 edit | I feel for you, my wife has had kidney stones several times, she can take a truck load of pain and these really got to her, so I can only imagine the agony you're in. Hang in there and I hope they pass soon.
edit: Just asked the wife, biggest stone shes had was 7mm and had to be surgically crushed. Says you can't pass a stone over 4.5mm.. |

Pain meds can also contribute to throwing up.

Do they do lithotripsy, I thought I remembered it being an option? Would it help reduce the size and reduce your suffering?
