Mike a couple of questions.

What are grabbing audio with? I do realize the location but the video has an awfully hard sound to it.

Also what do you think of Vimeo?

We are currentally using You-Tube but keep on running into problems with their 10 minute limit.

That kind of creativity, we don't get around here. I love it. I also love it from your perspective, from the feet on to the moving people. It really shows an interesting viewpoint, IMHO. I also thought the sound had a rather, harsh, grating feeling to it but imagine that it might have sounded that way in that location and wherever your sound equipment was placed. It seems as though it might have been a little too close though.

Age is a very high price to pay for my maturity. If I can't stay young, I can at least stay immature!

Truthfully that kind of creativity is around here and your work is an example of it.

I also thought the sound had a rather, harsh, grating feeling to it but imagine that it might have sounded that way in that location and wherever your sound equipment was placed. It seems as though it might have been a little too close though.
That sound you call harsh and grating is the reason I asked the question, the sound works well, I am just wondering where it came from and how.

As a viewer I hate Vimeo. Playback is so chopped up that sound is usually incomprehensible. I suspect it's my ISP, Roadrunner, because if everyone got the playback that I do, they wouldn't use it.

Within that context.... nice work. Wish I could've seen it as it was intended.

thanks guys and girls. glad you enjoyed it. I used the Rode mic for it, recording straight into the camera, I have the marantz 661 but did not have it on me. Doubt it would have been much better, but def better. that tunnel just does not help the singers voice. As for vimeo, I really like that community, although their server problems from time to time (last couple of days were frustrating), I guess vimeo became too popular too fast. Hopefully they can work it out.

Just bought my wife a 7D, gave her my 17-40mm, showed her your video and said I have high expectations!
