| PSN DSL wipeout since 12/4. 12 metro areas now
My PSN DSL has been out since 12/4/00
Looks like PSN has DSL outages in 12 metro areas now.
The PSN service line (888) 596-9230 x 2106
message now says.
"We are currently modifying our network to improve network performance.
This will affect all DSL customers in the following areas.
Wash DC, Virginia, Maryland, North Carolina, Houston TX,
Denver CO, St Louis MO, Atlanta GA. Columbus Ohio, Philly PA,
Detroit Mich, Seattle Wash.
For DSL customers, we do not have a time for resolution.
We apologize for this inconvenience."
Not much of an improvement!
They added 4 metro areas yesterday to the scope of the outage.
I think a more honest message would be: "The CLEC's are
yanking our DSLAM service because we didn't pay our bill.
We'll be back up as soon as we find a sucker to buy some
of our junk bonds to get us enough cash to stay out of
bankruptcy for another month or 2. Darn! Our books are
so loaded with debt even the Earthlink bean counters won't
buy us!" |
