You wont be disappointed - been a Vonage customer for 7 years. Had several different TA's (Cisco ATA, ,PAP2, Dlink) and was a beta for the current TA. They all work well.
The real key is your router setup. Its important to use either QoS or if you can - IPTABLES rules to protect the vonage bandwidth. Give me a shout if you need any help with that

Wow, talk about a "quick decision" I am flabbergasted! Our OP starts a new thread in this Vonage sub-Forum at 6:37pm on June 7 stating "Thinking about switching to vontage".
At 6:49pm ... a mere 12 minutes after pondering ... the OP reports in the OptimumOnline Forum -- »Re: 1yr promotional up next month oo & ov -- "I just signed up with vontage."
It apparently took time less time to finalize the sign-up decision than to learn the correct spelling of the provider's name.   |

Re: [Equipment] current phone adapter? well i had 2 devices a pap2 that ive had with no problems for over 2 years now. and i also had a linksys rt312p-vd and it randomly took a crap on me earlier this week so i called about to order another device. The tech informs me that he is going to send me a brand new device if i send the linksys back to vonage ra. So i was very pleased i didnt pay one penny out of pocket and i got a new free vonage device in about 3 business days. They replaced the linksys with a newer device which i find very useful, its a vdv21-vd.
