Question... I am (deployed) in a remote location.

When my box arrives at home, can my wife pass me my game code and I register it on Blizzard then download the game? It's going to suck waiting for the physical CD to be forwarded to me.

All the wealthy, unhappy people you've ever met take sleeping pills; Mobile Infantrymen don't need them. Give a cap trooper a bunk and time to sack out in it, and he's as happy as a worm in an apple—asleep.

Yes, just enter the key-code in battle.net account management.

However, you can cancel your pre-order if you'd like. Blizzard posted that the digital copy will be for sale at 11am PST, July 27th.

Kris, where are you deployed to (be as revealing as you can but dont compromise OP SEC)

I ask because I will be leaving for Iraq shortly and am curious about internet while deployed.

Debating on whether or not to buy it and if I have enough time to play it.

I did enjoy the beta. When it was over, I was close to reaching #1 diamond 2v2. I bet I could crush a ton of non beta noobs.

It's baby-dependant. Right now, we can't get much gaming in.

Trade the baby for 2 copies of SC II.

Seriously though, if you are planning on playing, hit me up on here.

I think we need to look into a Blizzard forum or a SC2 forum eventually. Maybe rename the WoW forum to a Blizzard forum for WoW, SC2, D3, etc.

Yea, thats not a bad idea. I would have a Blizzard Forum with each game as an individual game

I don't think there's enough posts to warrant that, but I do see an influx of SC2 threads in the forum, which will probably trigger a move to its own forum, similar to how the WoW forum exists.

Yes and no.

There aren't heroes, however the resource and army management systems are really similiar.

Consider it WC III on crack. Much faster game play, more technology, more aggression.

its more like alien vs alien vs human.

I don't know. I don't think it's any "faster," just a bit more complicated.

I think in W3 the damage/armor types were more easily viewable.
