[Newsgroups] newsleecher built in searcher

My newsleecher searcher has stop working recently - goes to website to check license. Is there any fix for this or new licence that will work?
Also what other software you recommend that does the same as newsleecher searcher of files in the newsgroup?
TIA

They recently upgraded their supersearch. Did you read their support forms? other people are reporting this issue with the old 3.x version of newsleecher. you might want to try the latest beta (v4.0 Beta 20 currently) that supersearch seems to work fine.
supersearch is free in this beta too, normally its a separate fee.

If you're not on the v4 beta definitely give it a shot. I'm on 4.0 beta 20 and it supports up to 850 days via SuperSearch. Not that Usenet providers are quite there yet.

Does anyone know if they kept the old supersearch system in place for users of the older versions? I know the old versions probably do not know how to access the new system, but I didnt know if they decommissioned the old one completely, essentially forcing an upgrade.

I had to switch to the beta cause the 3.9 finally stopped working for me 1-2 months ago.. the new supersearch is extremely cool and delayed/buggy all at the same time..

If I understand it.. they switched out the technology that served it/upgraded it and because of that.. you have to move up to the new stuff... the new interface ought to explain how many changes they did make and why using a newer newsleecher is required..
