If I understand correctly, you want the directory tree of your site to show instead of a home page? If so, just delete the index.html file and that should show the directory of files. Unless there's something else here I'm missing...

i did that but then it redirects me to the 404error page, so i deleted that file... then it says theres no page available. so what i dont know how to do is turn off the 404 error page so it doesnt forward to the 404 page when index.html doesnt exist

thanks, scott

According to GoDaddy you may need to create or modify the .htaccess file on your site. Note that the filename starts with a period. In order to produce a directory listing, the file needs to contain the line:

Options +Indexes
