Did Comcast remove the bandwidth meter?

Split from this topic --> »Without a meter, Comcast can't enforce the cap

Note: Threads are often split out of others to make it easier for search engines to find specific info.

Did I miss something? Comcast does provide a meter, on your account page. Right? Last time I checked, it was there. Did they remove it?

Re: Without a meter, Comcast can't enforce the cap

I just checked today and my CC meter is still working for me - always has since it was implemented. That's not to say that some people aren't getting it, but the meter-not-available or not working problem isn't national.

Many of us have had it disappear. Mine is currently "Unavailable"

Mine usually becomes unavailable around midnight and comes back the next day.

Is it still unavailable right now?

Yes, it has been Unavailable for days. The message where it ought to be is "The usage meter is not available for this account."

Then you have some kind of odd problem with your account. I recommend you address it in the Comcast Direct forum @ »Comcast Direct

It's actually been very interesting for us who developed the system to see how often some people check the meter.

Well, I think it's a bigger problem than that. Take a look at this thread: »missing bandwidth meter as it appears there are many of us in the same spot.

Netflix.
Also i wasn't home in May, hence the low usage.

I consider myself a pretty heavy user. I try my best to remain under 250gb, but it just doesn't work out sometimes.

I can't say I check often and only when a thread like this comes up, but I have always been able to see it when I am logged on with my primary account. It is there now, at the end of a month and it seems to show my bandwidth hog tendencies are increasing.
