Re: Truck & SUV sales boost new car sales - Stats Can
said by Kardinal:You're onto something there... I much prefer posting about photography, cars (hot rods, classics, antiques, customized, etc) or arts (drawing, digital painting, Photoshoping, 3D modeling, etc)... But I get few responses when I post on these topics... Unlike the topics you mention... So I can only assume people these other topics... said by vue666:
Yoyo brought up the Toyota reference in this thread. Not I...
Why do you do this constantly?
YoYo mentioned he'd prefer a Toyota, and you put in two posts about rusty trucks in rapid succession. This goes with having mentioned it several times, along with every other fault you could find a comment on (whether the fault was real or not seemed immaterial) in the constantly-kept-alive thread about Toyota where you dredged up every negative report about that company over what, 15 weeks? Constant vitriol......honestly, it gets old.
I point out that you are a broken record over your favorite subjects ("justice", punishment, Toyota-hating, you don't believe in human activity is affecting the earth) because you post the same things over and over and over again with very little other than the same opinion and that it is right and anyone who doesn't agree with your only-black-and-white world is wrong.
Give these topics a rest, would ya? You posted a ton of pictures from a car show of some very interesting vehicles, some of which I'm sure have some good stories to go with them. Stick with that for a while, and perhaps add something more than an elipses with open-ended commentary, like a pro-active action that is more than just retribution or an 'equal answer' to whatever the story was.
| I don't post here very often, but I thought I'd respond to this thread. I ordered the F 150 mid July , because of Ford's incentives, and 4 weeks later it arrived. My daughter waited 13 weeks for the Fusion she ordered. The truck has pretty well all options except the GPS package which would have added $2300 to the price. Sticker price was just over $50K and before tax price was $37,400.|
The 2010 replaces a 2008 Dodge RAM 1500. One aberration (the Dodge) in 20 plus years of Ford trucks. The 2008 Mustang GT is behind in the garage: f... the price of gas
vue666, I enjoy your photos, I guess I should say so one in a while

as i said, i'm not a "truck guy" (i really have no use for them), but i do like the look of the Ford Trucks...they look "tough" and seem to have a nice ride to them...as well, they seem to be very competitive in power/towing/usefulness.
