So can someone gimme a nice list of parts to buy from newegg that is cheap but reliable doesn't have to be the best setup but I don't wanna spend alot cause I don't have it just need a good ole reliable comp. I've seen the Antec SX830 on sale at Best Buy for $79 from time to time (actually $99 with a 20 in-store rebate). I didn't see a HS in the list, but thats less than $20.

| reply to Nick82 It all depends on what games you wanna play. Solitaire doesn't really need the GeForce, AthlonXP, or DDR mojo. And do you already have a network card or modem? What do you want to keep from your old comp? Are you keeping the CD drive and the soundcard? Speakers? Please be more specific. |

| reply to Nick82 Seems ridiculous to spend $100 for a video card for an occasional game (and he didn't even specify *which* games.) For an occasional non-serious game player that doesn't really care about fps or how fast you can overclock video or video ram, something like a GeForce2 MX would even be a bit of overkill. Why not get a mb with halfway decent built-in AGP (or even PCI) video and spend the difference on some extra RAM? |
