But the part that really pisses me off is this:

When I started doing Cafe Hon in 1992, 18 and a half years ago, where was the city then? Where was Hampden? So you could say I took a little word, celebrated it and created change. Big change."
Who the hell does she think she is????? Hampden has been around a lot longer than her overpriced cafe and "Hon" was a celebrated Baltimore term or endearment long before her stupid pink flamingo. It just wasn't full of nouveau kitch. There were "hons" and beehives when I lived in Hampden in 1975.
