At the 756k package you don't qualify for most online schooling. It just drives more and more customers to our wireless Internet services. 756k doesnt meet the 4 meg to qualify as broadband AND streaming wont happen at that connection. Voip calls with a couple of user online forget it. I'm sure that Comcast will stick it to someone somehow. ALL monopolys eventually do.

This is just fine for what it is intended to do, provide a means for low income children to access the internet - primarily for schoolwork and research. You certainly don't need faster than 756k for that, and it seems to be 1.5mb from all reports. I don't know, I pay for the faster tier but this seems like a genuinely good thing.
