Re: T-online dsl and windows xp

Or you might want to think about getting rid of the T-Online software
completely, and using something simple like RASPPPOE...

Re: T-online dsl and windows 98

Forgive me this but what is "RASPPOE" ?
I am running the T-online DSL but never installed any of their dialers just filled in the appropriate info in my Win98 dialer.
the only problem I have not over come yet is the changing of my email number to something more pallatable.
Can "RASPPOE" accomplish that or is there an easier way?

thanks

@t-dialin.net
I just got my t-online splitter,modem and software. When I went to install it, it said it won't work on a foreign language operating system. What do I do now?

If you are running an English Ver. of Windows,
DO NOT INSTALL THE T-ONLINE SOFTWARE...

Not Only is it a pig Diskspace/Slowness
It is also very buggy at times.

Goto the RASPPPOE home page and get the newest
version 0.98 and load it up. Make a new Dial-up connection
ang plug in your account Info.

RASPPPOE = 100k
T-Online CD = 20Mb

  to get rid of the software go to (»ftp://software.sda.t-online.de/pub/ser···etup.exe) and download the raw driver for your T-online modem.once this is installed just set up a dialup connection. you need to make sure your device is set to (T-DSL Adaptor Line 01)and, add (@t-online.de)to your user name.This should be all those numbers in the first three lines (combined) on the paperwork that you should have gotten with your DSL spliter and account info from t-online.
