My server had packetloss issues Friday night. I set up smokeping for 24 hours to log. It finishes Saturday night. I wake up Sunday with the intention of writing the support ticket for the provider to take a look at for start of business day Monday, but my results have already been deleted.
Twelve hours of storage for the results is far less than I was expecting.
The notification that came up about my test ending via the system messaging system, not e-mail. I did not check DSLReports until Sunday, when the results had already been deleted.
If you can't extend the life of the smokeping results, please send an e-mail instead of using the internal messaging system. That way I get notified on my phone. For bonus points you could include the result images. |
