Wow is all can say about the K800, it might be too good for the HTPC. I may get a cheaper MK520 combo for the HTPC and move the K800 to the desktop (the UltraX that it has, which I still love is corded so will be a bit clumsy for gaming on the TV).
Also wow for the SSD, boot time is about 5 seconds! When I'm up for it the the desktop is definitely going to get a 240GB Vertex 3... |

I ordered a new Alienware this month to replace the aging Core 2 Quad desktop, which I believe the motherboard is starting to fail.  I configured an M17x R3 with the following goodies:

| Nice. Did you combine the Crucial 64 GB m4 + 1TB Samsung F3 that the Z68 supports? Besides the 8sec boot, how about the rest of story (apps/games)?
