Dallas, TX | I had ADSL in Aubrey (actually in Providence Village north of Fishtrap Road). It was great. Solid connection, no troubles in 18 months of service. We were a little too far to get UVerse, so I was bummed about that.
Do you know what service you can get?

| Got it all hooked up today. (didn't think they were coming out until later in the week)
So far so good, though with our unusual set up here on the estate it took most of the day to get up and running properly. They also only hooked up 6meg down instead of 12 like we ordered, so we are hoping that a simple phone call will take care of that.
As far as what we can get... I think we can get everything here, but we are literally the last address available. |

| Just curious Snuff - how fast was the connection with SOL? If AT&T bumped you down to the 6 Mbps its probably because of distance. |

| my speeds w/ SOL averaged 4Dwn and 1Up. Spiked at 5Dwn 1.5up
AT&T has the upload capped at 1 so we usually get about .95(ish). |

So far, AT&T isn't that wonderful. The speeds are what they should be, but service randomly cuts out for 30-45 seconds. We just placed a call and a tech will be here today, though the phone call wasn't much fun. Having to go through the automated system is a pain and one thing great about SOL ... you didn't have to do that.
We'll see what happens with it today. |
