Re: Stay Away From This Hotel Chain !! Ugly Stay For Me -The TV in my room was about 15 years old, a Sanyo 20-inch black box with a remote control that looked as if it had been through the Korean War, the bloody thing only had 5 channels.... CFTO,City TV, CBC ect, ect, the air-to-free local Ontario channels. These guys are so cheap and miserable that they don't even give their customers basic cable TV service? I couldn't believe it and went into my neighbor's room to check his TV line-up and it looks as if I was luckier than him, I had 5 channels, he only had 3 and 2 of them were fuzzy.
-The window AC's must had been 30 years old. I think they were Zenith. When in history have you seen a "Zenith" AC unit? Didn't they make TV's only? They must had been from the 1970's. The AC units were brown-colored, huge, noisy and the air they expelled smelled like mold.
-No wi-fi. Well there was a wi-fi hotel hot spot but it was always horribly slow or it simply never connected.
-I don't know if you guys have seen the movie "I Am Legend" when Will Smith goes to bed and roving bands of zombies come out at night roaming outside, it was like that at the hotel. All night long we heard running and screaming on the hallways and sometimes they would punch or kick our door (and others). WHERE WERE THE 6 MORONIC HOTEL SECURITY GUARDS?
-In the morning my neighbor goes to make a full complaint to this elderly lady that looks like the hotel manager and tells her all the horror stories and the rudeness of the front desk, specially that freckled-faced rude woman. The hotel manager just says "Oh don't worry about her, she's like that all the time, just ignore her". Wow.... well then fire her arse
-The front desk guy the previous day told me that the hotel had "full breakfast service". So we went around the lobby and didn't see anything, we then went to front desk and asked where the promised "complimentary breakfast" was at.... they told us, "Oh, the hotel's restaurant is down that hall, just go straight through those doors". It was an AppleBee's restaurant chain that was attached to the hotel and they served breakfast but it was NOT free, they were simply adjacent to the hotel, in other words, these Days Inn scoundrels LIE to their customers about having breakfast and they just dump them into the adjoining food joint.
-We have had enough and return the keys (cards) in the morning and for our last shock we find out they had charged us $35 per room for some stupid CFI or IFC "surcharge", whatever that means and that I have never seen in any hotel bill so far.
STAY AWAY FROM "DAYS INN". |

They're more noticeable when compressed into a small area. Even at nicer hotels there are idiots who think that just because they have to get up in the middle of the night for an early flight, they can wake up everyone else too by having conversations or whistling down the hallway. |

Good picture is subjective, so I'll go ahead and disagree with your opinion. |

After high school, I just assume everything is potentially a target for theft. Our music department came back the next day to see that somebody had walked off with one of our grand pianos. I've just never been able to explain that one. |
