However, the blockage could not be treated with a stent and a bypass appears to be in my future. Thank you all for the prayers and good wishes. Too bad that you were not a candidate for the procedure. As for the bypass, a friend had a quadruple bypass a couple of years ago. The doc told him to take three months off work, he was back at work after seven weeks, and he's as irascible and ornery as ever. You are and certainly will be in our thoughts. -- The Force is what holds everything together. It has its dark side, and it has its light side. It's sort of like cosmic duct tape.
