Losing Packets I am a new zoomtown customer I am experiancing high pings intermitently, and looks like I am losing packets on one of zoomtowns servers. I have a Westell Modem 7500 provisioned to 3072/768 Kbits. The trace route results are in the notepad attachment and I used my desktop pluged directly into the westel modem to elminate the possibility of any kind of wifi interfernce or issues.

Pings directed to router interfaces are considered tertiary and may be getting discarded. Pings passing through are normally treated as a higher priority. Try running an extended ping at 1 or 2 hops past the hop being suspected of having an issue. If you still lose pings, do a packet capture while you ping and send it in to them.

reply to catbrat90 I am having the same problem. www.dslreports.com/routerwatch shows some of the problems CBT has under the name XXXXX-X.swX.core.fuse.net listed in alphabetical order as fuse.net . I have called it in. We are not getting the service they should be giving. Also share the name of Their servers that are slowing your downloads. I have tried to get it fixed for several days now. We may just have to find other ISP's. By the way Cin bell's service number in cincy is 513 397 4357. Hope this helps.
