Question about adding a line to a plan..Hello, I purchased new service on AT&T on October 14th and the customer representative told me only one iPhone 4s per customer because of all the pre-orders that happened. Problem is that I wanted a family plan with 2 phones but at the time I couldn't. If I add a line now and make it a family plan, do I have to pay full price for another iPhone 4s for that second line to make it a family plan. I couldn't buy two phones because of the limit on October 14th. Thanks in advance for any info. |

Two individual lines on two different lines of credit, and you could merge the accounts into a family plan later with a change of responsibility. |

I don't know about AT&T but with Verizon that is not necessary. You can buy the new phone and just add it to your account. You still get the deal and each line has a 2 yr contract from it's own start date.
In other words phone #1 will be eligible for an upgrade on Oct 14th but the second phone would not be eligible until it reaches its 2 yr anniversary. |
