Disc swapping...another reason Sony should wait for PS3 to introduce online gaming. -- Notice to web hogs: A good parasite doesn't kill its host. |

| reply to CO_Chris My guess is that the start-up disk is for the modem. The ethernet part (for DSL, cable modems, etc.) is easy, just give it the parameters you got from your ISP (if it's DHCP, you may not have to do anything at all).
My question is... does the software support PPPoE? -- /* The green code always compiles. */ |

| reply to CO_Chris you dont have to buy sony's bb adaptor, you could get a linky, netgear and a couple others' usb network adaptor and hook it straight to the modem or thru a router. but for those that are Grrrr.....USB NICs, (like me) nevermind.
i just bought thps3 which is bb ready, you can setup the network (pppoe, static ip, DHCP) from inside the game and connect from there. -- ADSL /w PacBell 1500/128, PPPoE through RASPPPoE .96/Roaring Penguin, Win2K/Red Hat Linux 7.2, no network, no router |

@ibi.com | reply to Traal It probably will, but even if it does not, you could just by a router that does. You will probably want a router anyway so you can use both your computer and ps2 online at the same time and not have to worry about moving wires around. |
