I'm saying that when you mix speeds, it isn't as good a' gaming environment as a homogenious one. When you have some people on narrow band, then say voice chat in Counter Strike won't be supported, whereas XBox being all broadband, most everyone would be able to participate in voice chat during Ghost Recon, Doom III, Aliens: Colonial Marines, Robotech, or even Halo should Bungie wish to take advantage of the hard drive and release an update.

GTA 3 is also being ported to other platforms. Therefore not a reason to buy PS2 per se...not like say Final Fantasy X or Metal Gear Solid or Gran Turismo 3.
