Congestion and Frontier's failure to make upgrades/network expansion makes total sense to me, but why is this speed issue always occuring between midnight and 5:00 am every day? It seems that would be the time window when there would be LESS congestion. It's baffling to me and my neighbors, yet we continue to get our speeds cut to dial-up (or worse) every night, starting at exactly 4 minutes to midnight.
Of course, like you said, the techs answer is to switch modems. My Westell 7500 functions just fine, thank you. I know that's the script they must say, but why does Frontier management continue to blatantly lie to its rural customers - all over the country, evidently - about having everything fixed "in the next few months"? They've been saying that for well over a year now. Do they think we have such short memories, and that we won't switch to another ISP when/if the opportunity arises?

And for your specific issue, scanning through the outage logs, back on 3/2 aerial fiber around your area and upstream took severe tornado damage. Maintenance windows were used perform additional repair work.
Hi Ben - Any idea why the same type of issues are occurring still a couple months after the tornado?
