Re: WARNING: WIND Mobile Numbers can be associated with many different accounts. When a csr searches for a phone number, it's likely going to bring up many different accounts. When a new account is created, it gets assigned a cell number (how can they bill you for a cell phone if there is no number?) porting in numbers from other carriers simply replace the existing number, they can't just port the number to a nonexistent line because the port can take upwards of a week.
So this whole scenario is pretty standard practice. The csr might ha even brought up the wrong account, but from the first post, the OP didn't mention he even received a pin and apparently just flipped shit at the whole thing without actually thinking about it. In the end, the situation was created by him and the csr being dumb, not just the csr.
I would be happy the csr didn't grant access to the account. The pin on my rogers account is supposed to be the ONLY verification method. If I happen to forget it then I'm shit out of luck. |
