This was out of committee Dec 1, 2011 and has gone nowhere for over 4 months. The web site that tracks these things only give it a 13% chance of proceeding further. The House has much higher priority issues on the schedule that haven't been dealt with yet. Given this is an election year, the probability this dies at end of current Congress in December is high.

And the sharing is being mis-characterized. It is FROM the gov't to private companies - NOT the other way around. Meaning the government see a potential attack against private companies(for example water, electric, nuclear, gas, etc) and provides them with info to help fend off the attack.--
