Re: Game Rules Thread

This?

Standard game rules apply.
No posting after night. You post at your own risk after Twilight. No editing posts.
Do not give people thumbs up.
You are only allowed private communication if stated in your PM.
One ghost post per person per game. While OT silliness is not discouraged, we don't want to ruin the gaming experience for everyone. If you do post, don’t give out game info in it, and don't do it during the night phase.
A cast Vote will automatically nullify the previous Vote.
It is at the Game Mods discretion whether or not a post after night by an active player should result in a Mod Kill. The same goes with Editing of Posts or Thumbs. Everything is situational.

Editing and thumbs should stay banned. We're trying to avoid game breaks.

If Archivis is playing, it's always a good idea to lynch him as soon as possible.

I still believe that ghost posts should be less punished as long as they keep it low.

After night posts by active players should end a modkill, that is the nature of the game, this means a L-0 Twighlight vote count should be posted giving enough time for people to post their final ideas of the game..

Fixed me.

How about this. It opens up all rules to the discretion of the mod without being specific. An example. Someone accidentally gives a thumbs up to an off topic comment they found amusing. Or gives a thumbs up to the mod (I always allow this). Or an edit to a post that did not contain game info. While I can't think of really any edit post that wouldn't result in a mod kill, short of a new player mistake, the thumbs thing is possible. Besides, the thumbs rule is only enforceable through reporting by the player on the receiving end. This rule has always had a large loophole due to that alone. Thoughts?

The last one sums it up pretty well, I find.

And Arch, always, bro.
