Re: [Rant] US Post Office doesn't want coins anymore My PO can have a queue, but it often moves quickly (biggest hold-up is often someone applying for a passport). But just this past Monday, I went to send out some stuff. Got there at exactly 8am (opening time) & there was hardly a soul there! |

Our office has five windows & there can two or three people there at a given time. But it is a suburban office. I haven't been to any of the bigger offices in Boston for quite awhile, so I can't say how they are. |

However, if you go to the Post Office no more than 15 minutes before closing time all stations are manned at that time and you will get served very quickly even if there are 20 people in line when you walk in. So, I try to time my trips to go just before closing. -- When governments fear people, there is liberty. When the people fear the government, there is tyranny. Thomas Jefferson |
